Cleaning the floor
The first and the most important tip before sealing the concrete floor is to clean the concrete floor. To clean the concrete floor first clean it with a broom brush or broomstick and then use a scraper to remove uneven points on the floor. After that use a high speed vacuum or use the brush again to clear the dust. If the floor is not cleaned thoroughly then the seal will not settle on the floor and it will make the seal go to waste because the seal liquid will settle on the particles of dust and trash.
Use Good Quality Sealers.
If you want your floor to get sealed and it gets a long life then you must choose the best quality sealer. Because if you use the sealer that is of low quality then it will show this effect for some days after that your floor will start getting damaged.
Use Brush For The edges and Narro Points
To apply the sealer use the paint brush. Pour the sealer in a bucket or container and after that use the brush for narrow points of the floor. Because the roller will not get there and in this way, all the floors will get covered. If you are sealing the floor that is outer space and has no narrow edges then you don’t need the brush to start the sealing with the roller.
USe Roller For the Floor
Use the roller to spread the sealer thoroughly over the floor. Do not leave any spots. The sealer will give a wet look at the concrete floor where you apply it. In that way, you will be able to recognize the left spots if there were any.
Second Coat If Necessary
Apply the second coat if needed. To apply the second coat let the first coat dry for about two to three hours and then repeat the above-mentioned tips for the second coat.
